Seneca Rocks, WV - Rock climbing at Seneca Rocks is simply renowned. Seneca is the tallest 5th class summit on the East Coast. The mountain is known for its multi-pitch routes of all difficulties and for its technical terrain, which often gives the feel of an alpine environment.
Seneca is a great destination to hone your multi-pitch climbing and trad skills, experience climbing for the first time, or bag your first technical summit. Though seemingly daunting, Seneca Rocks has a variety of climbs that range from first timer friendly and beyond.
